Novamedia/Postcode Lottery Group has been 'Responsible Gaming Certified' by European Lotteries, the European umbrella organisation for national lotteries.

Novamedia/Postcode Lottery Group became a member of European Lotteries (EL) in 2021. All EL members are required to meet a broad set of responsible gaming standards. For example, on how operators ensure that they comply with all legislation and regulations in the field of responsible advertising, or how they contribute to broadening and deepening scientific insights about the possible risks of some games of chance.
Charity lotteries have long been considered a low-risk product, and last year an academic study by Nottingham Trent University found that the Postcode Lotteries were one of the world's safest products. In further confirmation of this low risk, the Postcode Lottery Group has now been Responsible Gaming Certified by The European Lotteries, the Europe-wide umbrella organisation for lotteries.
Judith Lingeman, director of international affairs at Novamedia/Postcode Lottery Group said: "The Responsible Gaming certification by European Lotteries is an international acknowledgement that the Postcode Lottery Group offers safe games of chance. We are proud to receive this recognition and hope this certification contributes to building new partnerships around the world."
The EL certification is valid for three years. Before the end of this period, a new assessment will be carried out. More information about the 'Responsible Gaming' requirements can be found on the European Lotteries website.
