There are different opportunities for local charities and good causes to secure funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Parliamentarians are encouraged to highlight these to local charities and good causes, community programmes and voluntary projects.

Community Programmes Grants

One-year project funding of £500 to £20,000 available to charities and not-for-profit groups is available through the following trusts.

Postcode Trust Peterborough Soup Kitchen

People's Postcode Trust

Supports projects which focus on the prevention of poverty, promotion of human rights and tackling discrimination.

Magpas Air Ambulance Community Trust

Postcode Community Trust

Funding themes are currently focused on improving health and well-being through grassroots sports, reducing isolation, arts and physical recreation.

Awen Cultural Trust Local Trust

Postcode Local Trust

Funds projects that involve green space improvements, increasing community access to outdoor spaces, work involving renewable energy and flood prevention.

Cowes Sailability Magic Little Grants

Magic Little Grants

Allows small charities and community groups to apply for £500 towards delivering sports and exercise to support physical well-being and active lifestyles. Thanks to an award of £550,000 from Postcode Community Trust, funded by players, they are able to provide more grants than ever before.

Learning Through Landscapes Local School Nature Grants

Schools can apply for up to £500 worth of outdoor equipment and resources, along with a two hour on-site free training session with staff.
